“If Democrats are so concerned with affordability, perhaps they should champion policies that lower taxes for hard-working New Mexicans. Last year, every single Democrat voted “no” on the One Big Beautiful Bill, which created lower tax rates and more tax deductions, like no tax on tips, overtime, or Social Security. The reality is that personal income is up, disposable income is up, and spending has risen under President Trump. Our economy is growing, and we’ve also seen substantial job growth — all while Democrats have refused to work across the aisle at every turn.”
