2026 Regional 5-County Job & Resource Fair Coming to Butner
The Kerr-Tar Regional Workforce Development Board and NCWorks are preparing to host the 2026 Regional 5-County Job & Resource Fair at the Soldiers Memorial Sports Arena in the Town of Butner.
The regional event will bring together employers, educators, workforce development organizations, community partners, and resource providers from across Franklin, Granville, Person, Vance, and Warren counties.
With Veterans Day approaching, this year’s event will place a special emphasis on connecting veterans and their families with employment opportunities, education and training programs, workforce services, and community resources. The event is open to veterans, job seekers, employers, students, families, and community members throughout the Kerr-Tar region.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with employers about current job openings, learn about education and workforce training opportunities, and connect with organizations offering services and resources to support career and personal development.
Food trucks will also be on site during the event, providing attendees with an opportunity to grab a meal while connecting with employers and community organizations.
A special feature of this year’s event will be the Camp Butner Museum, located at Soldiers Memorial Sports Arena. The museum will be open during the event, giving attendees an opportunity to learn more about the local military history.
The event is being supported by community partners including Granville Economic Development, Vance-Granville Community College, Piedmont Community College, and the Town of Butner.
Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and come prepared to ask questions, explore opportunities, and make connections with employers and community organizations from across the Kerr Tar region.
